Booking Terms and Conditions

Thank you for your interest in Chalet Le Silverson. To ensure a harmonious and enjoyable experience for all, we ask that you carefully read and accept the following booking terms and conditions. By accessing and making a reservation via our website www.chaletsilverson.com, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these terms and conditions in full.

1. Guest Responsibilities and House Rules

Guests agree to respect the property, furniture, and all items provided during their stay. The chalet must be returned in the same clean and functioning condition as it was found upon arrival. Any failure to meet this obligation may result in partial or total withholding of the security deposit.

2. Pets

We allow a maximum of two dogs per stay. A fee is applied for each pet. Guests must indicate the presence of pets during the reservation by selecting the appropriate option. Any violation of this rule, or bringing unauthorized pets, will result in additional fees, which will be deducted from the security deposit, or immediate expulsion without refund.

3. Respect for the Property

Guests agree to:

  • Return the chalet in the same condition as it was upon arrival.
  • Use furniture and objects provided with care and only for their intended purposes.
  • Immediately report any damage or malfunction to the host.

In case of disagreement over the condition of the property or damages, the Chalet Le Silverson team reserves the right to assess necessary compensation based on evidence (photos, concierge service reports, etc.).

4. General Rules

  • Non-smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the chalet. Any violation of this rule will result in additional cleaning fees.
  • Drugs and cannabis: The consumption of illegal substances, including cannabis, is strictly prohibited. Any violation will result in immediate expulsion without refund.
  • Fireworks: The use of fireworks or explosives is prohibited.
  • Respect for neighbors: Noise must be kept to a minimum, both inside and outside the chalet, especially after 10:00 PM, to respect the peace of the neighborhood. Repeated complaints from neighbors may result in the expulsion of guests.

5. Jacuzzi Use

Guests are required to follow these guidelines for using the jacuzzi:

  • Shower before use to maintain water cleanliness.
  • Do not use the jacuzzi after 11:00 PM to respect the peace of the neighbors.
  • Children must be supervised at all times. The use of glassware and alcohol around the jacuzzi is strictly prohibited.
  • If a water change is required due to improper use, a $200 fee will be deducted from the security deposit.

6. Departure Check

Guests are responsible for ensuring that they have not forgotten any personal items before departure. The management and owners of Chalet Le Silverson, GROUPE IMMOBILIER TM2 INC., cannot be held responsible for lost, stolen, or forgotten items. 

7. Condition of the Property Upon Arrival

Any defect or damage noticed upon arrival must be reported immediately to the host. If no report is made, guests may be held responsible for damages found at the time of departure.

8. Number of Guests

The number of guests may not exceed the maximum limit of 12 people without the explicit agreement of the manager or owner. Any violation of this rule, including concealing additional guests, will result in additional fees deducted from the security deposit or immediate expulsion of the guests.

9. Security Cameras

For safety reasons, two external security cameras are installed: one at the main entrance, including the main parking area, and the other on the side of the chalet near the secondary parking area and propane tank. No cameras monitor private spaces such as the terraces or the jacuzzi. By accepting these terms, you consent to the presence of these cameras, which are solely intended to ensure the security of the property and its guests.

10. Assistance During Your Stay

We are available 7/7 to answer any questions or provide technical assistance. Do not hesitate to contact us if you need help with any equipment or other aspects of the chalet.

11. Security Deposit

A security deposit is required when booking. This deposit may be used to cover any damage, additional cleaning, or violation of chalet rules (e.g., jacuzzi water change). The deposit will be refunded within a reasonable period after the inspection of the property at the end of the stay.

12. Force Majeure

The management and owners of Chalet Le Silverson, GROUPE IMMOBILIER TM2 INC., cannot be held responsible for any delays or failures to fulfill obligations due to events beyond their control, including but not limited to natural disasters, utility outages, pandemics, or acts of war. In the event that services cannot be provided, a partial or full refund may be discussed based on the circumstances.

13. Cancellation Policy

100% of prepaid fees are refundable if canceled 60 days or more before arrival.
50% of prepaid fees are refundable if canceled 30 days or more before arrival.
0% refundable if canceled less than 30 days before arrival.

14. Use of Facilities

Facilities such as the jacuzzi, fireplace, and BBQ are provided at the guests' sole responsibility. The management and owners of Chalet Le Silverson, GROUPE IMMOBILIER TM2 INC., cannot be held responsible for injuries or accidents caused by improper use of these amenities.

15. Limitation of Liability

The management and owners of Chalet Le Silverson, GROUPE IMMOBILIER TM2 INC., cannot be held responsible for utility outages, power failures, or other events beyond their control that may affect the comfort of guests during their stay. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

16. Guest Insurance

Guests are advised to obtain adequate travel insurance to cover any loss or damage to their personal belongings. The management and owners of Chalet Le Silverson, GROUPE IMMOBILIER TM2 INC., cannot be held responsible for guests' personal belongings.

17. Use of the Property

The chalet is exclusively intended for private residential use for vacations. Any commercial activity, subletting, or hosting events without prior authorization from the owner is strictly prohibited.

18. Nuisance and Improper Conduct

Disruptive behaviors such as unauthorized parties, excessive noise, or any illegal activity will result in immediate expulsion from the premises without refund and may lead to legal action.
