Do we need to bring bottled water?
It's not necessary as the water at the chalet is of good quality and drinkable.
Do we need to bring firewood?
Yes. Firewood for the outdoor fireplace is not provided. Several stores near the chalet can supply it. They can also provide a mix of natural logs or kindling wood.

What should I bring apart from my personal belongings?

Booking & Rental
When should I book?
It is always best to book as early as possible to secure your dates and guarantee your stay.
Where can I see the chalet availability?
When you start the booking process, you can see all availability directly on our website.
Can the chalets be rented for the month/season?
Yes, if availability allows, you can book the entire month. If there are limitations on the platform, please contact us at [email protected] for a manual booking.
How do I make a reservation?
You can book at any time via any page of the chalet's website. Simply click on "Book Now!" at the top of each page or in the dropdown menu.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations more than 60 days before the arrival date allow for a full refund. Between 14 and 60 days, 50% of the amount is refunded. Less than 14 days before arrival, no refund is provided, except in cases of force majeure. More information here: Reservation Conditions.
How and when will I receive the necessary details for my arrival (access codes)?
The necessary details and codes will be sent to you before your arrival or on the same day, after a $800 pre-authorization on your card for security.
Chalet Location
Where is the chalet located?
Our chalet is located in the Laurentians, about 20 minutes from Lachute and 90 minutes from Ottawa, in the Pine-Hill estate.
Is there a village near the chalet?
Yes, the village of Brownsburg-Chatham is just a few minutes away. You will find restaurants, pizzerias, convenience stores, gas stations, and pharmacies.
Where can we park?
Use the designated driveways. Do not park in front of the garbage bins or on the street to avoid towing fees.
Is it necessary to have a 4x4 or all-wheel-drive vehicle?
Recommended for winter due to the gravel hills leading to the chalet. Be cautious and plan your trips during snowstorms.
Do you handle snow removal in winter?
A snow removal service clears the driveway and parking areas during storms with more than 5 cm of snow. A team is also scheduled to clear the balconies and steps.
General Rules
Can we throw a party?
Excessive outdoor noise is prohibited. Music is discouraged outside and not allowed after 8 pm. If you want to listen to music, do so inside with windows and doors closed.
Are there security cameras at the chalet?
For security reasons, two external surveillance cameras are installed: one at the main entrance, covering the main parking area, and another on the side of the chalet facing the secondary parking area and propane tank. No cameras monitor private areas such as the terraces and the hot tub. By accepting these conditions, you consent to the presence of these cameras, which are solely for the safety of the property and guests.
Can I bring my pet?
A maximum of two dogs per stay, with a surcharge for each. Please indicate the presence of pets when booking. Failure to do so will result in additional fees or expulsion without refund.
What happens if there are more people at the chalet than agreed upon in the contract?
A surcharge will be charged or the security deposit may be withheld. It is your responsibility to declare the correct number of guests.
What are the cleanliness standards?
We maintain high hygiene standards with professional cleaning. There are no carpets in any room, and special covers protect the mattresses.
Is there a rental agreement?

Can we organize events at the chalet?
Yes, but a request must be sent to [email protected] before making the reservation if the number of guests exceeds the maximum capacity listed on the site.
